How Do I Get My Crawfish To Grow Fast?
If i feed my crawfish constantly after it finishes its portion of food ive given it will it grow faster? Its a little bit smaller than an inch
Fill the bottom two or three inches of its tank with Java moss. This bottom greenery will allow it to grow faster and will absorb the wastes from the crayfish eating its food. Include some green beans and zucchini along with krill in its diet. They are omnivorous so they need a bit of meat and a bit of veggie. The krill also supplies some nutrients for shell (exoskeleton) growth.
If you really want to ramp it up without harming the crayfish, get these two foods. They will keep it well fed while filtering the water until they are eaten by the cray.
If you are not in the US, look for a source in your country. As far as I have looked this is the best US place to get these. The duckweed you can grow yourself if you want. The daphnia is challenging.
