First, for the info, i'm not a habitual user. I had some bad tooth pain and my mom had some left over lortab 7.5mg, and I had got Vicodin a long time ago for a root canal I needed so I took 2 of them. I have a fast metabolism, low body weight, after I took them I remembered that I was waiting on a follow up interview for a job that I expect to hear from in a few days. After which I assume they'll give me a drug test.
No, i'm not a drug user so I don't want demonizing answers, i'm not a hydrocodone user and haven't touched any kind of pain killer in years but my tooth was in really bad shape and was desperate. I know that one time low-dose use won't show up for as long as that of habitual use so how long could I expect this to be in my system for a urine drug test? low dose, non habitual use, and fast metabolism in mind.
I don't mean that I just metabolize food quickly, I also metabolize pain killers very quickly, and almost everytime I go to the dentist, the novacaine injections wear off before they even begin their procedure and I usually need repeated novacaine application during the procedure cause my body uses it up so fast.
If it was really only two pills then you should be able to pass a urine test after 3-6 days. Unfortunately, low body weight and the fact that you seem to metabolize food quickly doesn't always mean the same for drugs.
I've failed drug screens up to 8 days after taking a few hydrocodone 10 mgs and I'm pretty fit, but I had a chubby friend who was able to pee clean on Monday after using heavily on Friday. It depends on too many factors for anyone to accurately predict. But if you haven't been called into your interview yet, try to schedule it as late as possible. Also, employers often send you out for the drug screen, giving you 24 hours to go and have it done, and if this is the case just wait as long as you can.
