Particle Traveling In A Magnetic Field?
A particle of mass 3.11Ã—10-8 kg and a charge of 8.36 Î¼C is traveling due north. It enters perpendicular to a magnetic field whose magnitude is 4.11 T. After entering the field, the particle completes one-half of a circle and exits the field traveling due south. How much time does the particle spend in the magnetic field?
I have no idea how to do this, and my assignment is due tonight. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
Get out your lesson notes or textbook and get studying. Alternatively, research it online. If, as you say, you have no idea how to do this then you clearly have been paying insufficient attention in physics lessons.
