At the end of the bolt I keep turning the nut right but it gets to a point where when I turn the nut the bolt turns with it getting no where. So theres a gap still in between. BTW it's not a left turn one.
There the right parts and their brand new yet they wont budge, i've cleaned them and held the bolt in place while doing it as well.
You may have mis'threaded it, this means you have got it on a skew,. This means the thread will be damaged, and you need to get new ones. Visualise going down a helter skelter and all of a sudden the slide is broken and you drop a level to the part below. This is what a misthreaded screw is like. Sorry for the simplistic explanation to all you engineeers. out there.
